The Nicene Creed

我信獨一上帝，全能的父，創造天地的，並造有形無形的萬物的主。

我信獨一主耶穌基督，上帝的獨生子，在萬世之前，

為父所生的，從神出來的神， 從光出來的光，從真神出來的真神，

是受生的，不是被造的，與父一體的；萬物都是藉着主受造的。

主為要拯救我們世人，從天降臨，

由聖靈感孕童貞女馬利亞，取着肉身，並成為人，

在本丟彼拉多手下，為我們釘十字架；被害，埋葬；

照聖經第三日復活，升天，坐在父的右邊；

將來必有大榮耀，再降臨，審判活人死人。

祂的國無窮無盡。

我信聖靈，為主，並賜生命的根源，

從父子出來的，與父子同受敬拜，同受尊榮，曾藉着先知傳言。

我信唯一聖而公之教會，眾使徒所傳者。

我承認為赦罪設立的獨一洗禮。我指望死人復活，並來世的生命。

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
